About Me.
Hi, My name's Hannah and I am 24 years old. I enjoy writing, designing costumes and reading fantasy books. All of these things help me to imagine and create new ideas for costumes.
I graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA Costume Construction degree in July 2023.
I have been, and continue, to try to grow and develop my skill and knowledge of Costumes so I can successfully make pieces that people will love and appreciate.
Education
2017
Glasgow Caledonian University
While in my final year of High School I was given the opportunity to attend a 'Fashion Branding' course at Glasgow Caledonian University. This course taught me the financial side of this industry thereby giving me some valuable insight into the different areas in the fashion industry.
2019-2020
City of Glasgow College
After I finished High School I decided to attend College to further my artistic abilities. I attended 2 NQ courses at City of Glasgow College over the course of 2 academic years. I attended an NQ Applied Arts course in 2018, just after I left high school. During the span of this course I learned many skills, such as how to work with glass, jewellery, photoshop etc. After that I attended an NQ Jewellery course in 2019 into 2020, so I unfortunately was unable to finish the course in person as the pandemic hit. But while I never got the chance to continue the course in the building I learned a lot during my time at City of Glasgow.
2020-2023
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
I received an Unconditional into the BA Costume Construction course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2020. I graduated in July 2023. I studied at RCS for 3 years and that I learned so much over those few years, such as how to manage a show, different sewing/pattern techniques etc.
